We also want to go through the next steps with you, so that you’ll know what to expect moving forward. A lot of clients think that real estate agents simply show property. True, we do show you all of the properties that you want to see without any pressure from us, but that’s only 10% of what we do. 80% of real estate agents out there are either average or below average. We're definitely not your average agents because we go above and beyond just showing properties. We consider agents who only know how to show properties as unpaid Uber drivers. There's not much value in that. Plus, with all of the different websites and technologies available today, most of our clients actually find the properties that they are interested in before we do. So our value is really not in simply showing you properties.
What we do best is risk management and negotiation for our clients. There are many parties involved in a real estate transaction with many moving parts. You have the buyers, sellers, buyer's agent, seller's agent, title company, escrow company, appraiser, home inspectors, termite inspectors, etc. Our job is really to protect our clients throughout the entire process, advising you on what you can and can't do, when we should change contingency periods, when your deposit is at risk, when you can back out of a transaction, etc. We want to make sure you have an overview of the entire process and that you are comfortable throughout the process as well, with no surprises.
